A Letter from the PGIT Board of Trustees' Chair

As we enter our 10th year of operation, the Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust® (PGIT®) continues its steady growth and increasing visibility throughout Florida. With over 700 members and approximately $90 million in annualized premiums, your Board of Trustees is working hard to keep PGIT® as the premier public entity insurance program available in the state. We continue to accomplish this goal due to the diligent efforts of Public Risk Underwriters®, trust’s administrator, and Preferred Governmental Claim Solutions® (PGCS®), the claims administrator. Their experienced leadership and dedication allow PGIT to continue to provide you with both innovative and optimal insurance solutions.

On behalf of your Board of Trustees, thank you for your participation in PGIT. I encourage you to take advantage of the great programs and services Public Risk Underwriters and PGCS have to offer. Please contact me or any of my fellow trustees if we can be of service.

Thank you for making 2008-2009 program year the best year in the history of the Trust!
