Preferred Marketing
The Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust is marketed to Florida public entities through a select group of "program agents" who specialize in the public sector.
The marketing staff of Public Risk Underwriters of FL, Inc. possess over 25 years experience in governmental pooling. The staff interacts with the Preferred membership and takes an active role in supporting PRIMA, RIMS, Florida Association of Special Districts, Florida Association of Counties, and the Florida Partnership for Safety and Health.
As Preferred enters its tenth year of operation in 2009, membership comprises approximately 700 entities with annualized premiums in excess of $90 million.
